Following the FifieldsI was born in sweet home Alabama and raised as a Georgia peach. I met my husband Charles through a prank phone call during our first semester of college at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. #truestory
We just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in May (man, we're old), and we have five littles- four in our arms and one in heaven. Chad (12) started middle school this year, Sarah (9) is in third grade, Hannah (7) is in second grade, and Savannah (4) just started Pre-K. Our son Cohen passed away in 2007 from an extremely rare condition called vasa previa. He would be 11 years old this year. I came to Westlake from Temple High School where I taught for 11 years. Prior to that, I taught for 2 years at Atlantic High School in Delray Beach, Florida. I graduated cum laude from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton with a Bachelor of Arts in English Education.
